ABOUT THE CENTER

The KSU Center for Information Security Education was founded in January 2002 to support the university's bid for the National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education recognition. KSU received this recognition in 2004 and again in 2007.

The Center has grown beyond its initial virtual roots and now hosts two events annually, with Center personnel also providing numerous Faculty Development Workshops and Professional Development Seminars.

The Center also collaborates with the International Center for Innovation in Technologies to offer security certification training.
