Guidelines for Preparing Accepted Papers
Note: Guidelines for Preparing Accepted Presentations are listed below this section.

At least one author from each paper must register by August 15, 2008 for the paper to be included in the proceedings.

Once your paper has been accepted for inclusion in the conference and proceedings, you must format it in accordance with the following guidelines. For your convenience, an electronic template has been prepared.

<<Template for Formatting Accepted Papers>>

The chapter, references and authors' biographies must be submitted electronically. The format must be in Word using the template above. Please label your file with your first initial and last name, i.e. mwhitman.doc.

The text of your paper should be edited for proper use of language with clear, concise sentences. Proofread the copy for typographical, grammar and spelling errors.

All text should conform to the attached template. Use the standard Communications of the ACM format for references – that is, a numbered list at the end of the article, ordered alphabetically by first author, and referenced by numbers in brackets [1]. See the examples of citations at the end of the template. Within this template file, use the style named references for the text of your citation.

A signed original of Author's Warranty and Transfer of Copyright Agreement must be submitted with the final copy of your paper. THE PAPER MUST BE ORIGINAL AND NOT BEEN SUBMITTED FOR PUBLICATION OR PUBLISHED ELSEWHERE.

<<Author's Warranty & Transfer of Copyright Agreement>>

We appreciate your submission and look forward to the receipt of your original copyright transfer (signed by all authors)and paper.

Guidelines for Preparing Accepted Presentations

Individuals with accepted practitioner presentations must ensure they are professional in appearance and do not overly emphasize a particular vendor or product. Presentations should be in PowerPoint 2003 or later (i.e. 2003 or 2007).

At least one presenter per presentation must register prior to August 15, in order for the presentation to be included.

The introduction slide should indicate the presenter's name and affiliation. Presentations will be included in the on-site conference proceedings, but not the ACM Digital Library.
